Akis Vrettos

Akis Vrettos’ area of expertise is in Rehabilitation of Children with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.

At the Rehabilitation Centre for Children of Akis Vrettos are treated children aged 0 – 16 years, with various neurodevelopmental disabilities. The centre offers programs in early intervention, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Since 2001, he has been involved in the assessment and rehabilitation of children who have been operated on Selective Percutaneous Myofascial Lengthening in collaboration with Dr. A. Kanellopoulos, as well as in family counselling.

At the IASO hospital he is responsible for the direct mobilization of young children post-op, for giving instructions for the next rehabilitation steps, and for addressing the FAQ of parents and children.
