Maria Zacharioudaki holds a postgraduate degree in Special Education from the University of Columbia, NY, specializing in pre-school children with developmental difficulties.
She has worked as a nursery teacher at the American Community School in Athens, at the Global Concept International School of Prague and as supervisor at the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation ‘I. M. KARRAS’.
She has also worked as an early intervention teacher at the Greek Society of Rehabilitation for The Disabled (ELEPAP). For the past 10 years, she has been working as a special consultant at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children ‘E.N.A’.
She has attended seminars and workshops in Europe and the USA, such as the postgraduate seminar in the WECHSLER Intelligence scale (WISC-III), the seminar in the theory and management of sensory actualization, the M.O.R.E. seminar, as well as the seminar: ‘Growing up with Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity and Learning Difficulties.
